Cardiff Sandringham Hotel

It has good location to see Principality Stadium.

The food was nice, with a lot of options.

The location was incredible, within a close distance from Principality Stadium. There was variety of restaurants, restaurants and bars nearby to try.

We had very good breakfasts.

The room was good-sized, budget with an extra bed which was great and the overall experience was perfectly pleasant.

Staff was friendly and helpful. great location -- walking distance to everything within the central city area including Cardiff University, which is what I was visiting. Very close to the bus station too (5 minutes' walk). Price was decent. My room was tiny but adequate for the purpose, and very clean and comfortable. I'd definitely stay there again.

My room was about 75-80 steps up - not really a problem (just tiring) except for carrying luggage up & down. It would have been nice to have known in advance that there was no elevator. My tv didn't work properly 90% of the time, which was annoying although the staff tried to be helpful in fixing it. My room was quiet, which was very important to me, but I imagine the first-floor rooms (and maybe the second-floor ones too) hear the music in the club below until 1 A.M.

Room was spacious and clean, but noise outside made sleep difficult.

Location is excellent! It is in the central street, only 5 min away from the Castle and 5 min away from the railway station. Rooms were clean and cosy, with pleasant design, bathroom spacious. There was free Wi-Fi and a comfortable table for my lap-top. Food was quite good.

The room was stuffy, it was a little bit noisy, particularly in weekend, there was no iron, the shower was uncomfortable, the stairs were very steep, no lift and the stuff didn't help with the cases.

The Hotel was 100% better than expected thinking about the price! Very service minded staff, nothing was too much. I don't think I have rated anything in any hotel as more than good, but this certainly was over the average for a 2-star hotel

It would have been nice to have parking a bit closer. There was no lift, which I think every hotel to-day should have.

Consider bringing earplugs for a better night's sleep due to the lively nightlife nearby.

There were exceptionally comfortable beds and a work desk, coffee/tea making equipment and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels inside the room. The team provided an excellent service. Stayed for 1 night, the staff was great during all this time.

Road works immediately outside but thisis an unavoidable and short term niusance.

I needed to be able sleep - happened to have a quiet room at the back although if it had been on the main street it would have been very different.. . For the price the hotel is just about accceptable - but it is very well situated for the station , castle and town centre. The staff were veryh pleasant especially those in the breakfast room who were very attentive .

I had not been averted to the two flights of stairs to get to the reception - True there was a bell to ring for assistance , in the event I carried my not very heavy bag myself but it would be inconvenient for those with lots of luggage.

We went to see Take That at the Millenium Stadium and this hotel could not have been any closer. Also very close to the St Davids shopping centre. Ideal for a city shopping or show trip. Breakfast was excellent.

A lot of stairs. Not suitable for anyone with health problems.
